Do not count laliga and ucl tophies when you are talking about barca and madrid. The difference is huge.

Comparing TAA to Kroos, what a joke. Guys like this fail to grasp that the issue is not passes from deep, it is complete lack of control in midfield. That was Kroos role. Yes he made some great passes as well, but that was not his main contribution. Trent on the other hand is a great passer, but he is not a midfielder and does not have the skillset of Kroos at all, he would be completely overrun in that position.
What Madrid would need to replace Kroos and Modric is one of the main Barca midfielders, and there are actually some similar Spanish guys. But they are of course not sexy enough.
