  1. Calling ridicolous to the Athletic policy is absurd. They are a big team in Spain leage and they have a strong comunity behind so why the hell are they gonna change that? To compete against billionaire owners? Why?

  2. Look. As a catalan supporting Barça since the 80's I have plenty of beef with Athletic Bilbao for many reasons. Specially for their history of injuring Barça players with extremely violent tackles in the past and lately for the antagonizing attitude they have showed towards my club. But they have mantained this policy of restricting themselves to only basque (or basque adjacent) players for 127 years. It's pretty safe to say it won't "catch up" on them anytime soon. They never have been relegated, they participate in european competitions regularly, before and after the Bosman law. Calling them "ridiculous" for it I consider ignorant and insulting.

  3. Barça fan here (and I dislike Athletic Club lately a lot), but please don't call their Basque-only policy ridiculous. If you don't understand identity-linked issues, at least show respect. Thanks

  4. this guy has no idea about la liga let alone barca. keeps saying there is a goal keeper battle. then he says olmo was a celebration towards flick?

  5. But it not about ‘the rest of the world ‘ this is Athletic I really don't like when global journos change narrative like this and position themselves in the middle of the story This club is every thing to its supporters lets go for being unique … I am not Basque btw I just see where this is going and don't like it ..

  6. Barca is now having a attacking threat from the middle when the Raphinhia and Lamine along with Lewy were the largest weapons to score from anywhere. I would like to see Rooney get more minutes and Ferran Torres leading in goals currently.

  7. They are not the best because they cannot win CL since 2015🤷🏾‍♂️😂. However, they are the best in la liga🤷🏾‍♂️💯
