Olmo is a technician, He's facing competition in starting lineup from the likes of fermin, casado which is good for Barca. Rashford form is giving good competition to attackers as well
Three games without Yamal and the team scored 10 goals. I think it was important to show that the team can still function really well without Yamal.
Also the defence is working well. Eric has been really good no matter where he plays and Christensen also put up a really well show.
Joan Garcia gives us so much confidence too.
I like the fact that guys like Ferran, Fermin, Olmo and Rashford are stepping up, when Lewa, Raphinha and Yamal are not their best!

And the last thing I have to say about it is this coaching staff is world class too. We have retooled the back line 6 to 7 yards deeper and it completely changes the dynamic of the game. You're not seeing the counter-attack destroy this team consistently and since the second half whistle of the Newcastle game this team has played with this retooled line that not only takes people out of the game with the offside trap. But they're back far enough now there's no real threat for the counter attack unless you're running into a guy like mbappe
De Jong is so special and truly the best.
And we also saw again today that Barcelona has the best midfield duo in the world. You can't get the ball away from these guys. It's almost like it's xavi and Iniesta all over again.

No Academy has ever produced a generation to perform on their senior level as good as Barcelona both past and present in European. There was a time during Pep days, and Barcelona used 11 of their Academy product in a match. I don't think any of the European big teams have ever done this before. Hansi Flick has been using Ferran Torres, Lewandowski and Olmo, Fermin based on which players suit the opponent. Against low block teams that suits Olmo and against opponents that leaves a lot of space behind suits Fermin. Lewandowski is still very important to the team and Hansi Flick has done well in managing his minutes, as for Ferran Torres he’s improving massively in his finishing aspect of the Game but also the way he presses and his movement off the ball, his decoy runs creates a lot of opportunities for the midfielders and other attacking players. Mbappe is gonna be the top scorer in the league but Barcelona will score more goals than Real Madrid and probably Barca winning the league again because you just can’t predict where the goals are coming from.
