  1. Frenkie De Jong deserves to be the captain of FC Barcelona. He was absolutely breathtaking last night. Him and Pedri is the best midfield duo in world football by a distance.

  2. This is the problem with this Madrid ex journalist. They always bring excuses when Barcelona win. Now is because Madrid players were injured that is why Barcelona won right? What about the last time Madrid win Barcelona in league game? Was Barcelona not injured? Yamal was far from fit. Raphinha, Olmo, Joan Garcia and Lewandoski was absent. Did you guys talk about that? Of course not. You were jumping and happy with smiles in the studio because Madrid won. This hypocrisy need to stop

  3. Well to be honest, no team has matched Barcelona in possession football from the Pep era. To try judge Madrid midfield by Barcelona standards is absolutely wrong.

Key questions are: Is Madrid midfield able to create goals for its forwards and is it able to assist the team in defence? The answer is an absolute yes but of course improvements will always be needed. But to a person like Phil who prefers Barcelona style football even Kroos, Modric & Casemiro were no match to Barcelona because they didn't play possession football.

  4. Look at those possession stats, they tell the whole story.

Madrid barely kicked a ball tonight…I hate to say it but I think Xabi Alonso has to go…

I thought he'd bring the kind of football Real Madrid deserves to be playing right now but no…He really hasn't..

  5. This is not even the best version of flick barca, flick cant sign top players for depth, cant sign cb, cant sign top striker and have to rely on la masia every season. If the board give him at least 100-150m u will see the true flick barca

  6. Not used to watch VARdrid play low block? You forgot that UCL game against Man City at the Etihad when all VARdrid players where squatting in their own box ?? Sod off

  7. The tactical side of a flick scheme are slowly being introduced on a match to match squad options but on the defensive side of the pitch. The high line is the base of the strategy that Flick compose with Pedri and Frankie pace of the game. Joan Gracia has provided new tactical advantages because of his athleticism.

  8. Cr7 use to be almost a crybaby but he was 100% in the pitch man. Vinicious is a ghost of his self, he doesn't deserve to cry. It was just one el classico without mbappe , step up man. Where is your mind? One brilliant moment and than what, are you tired or you want a payrise again?

  9. As old as he is, Lewandowski is still playing at the highest level of football and scoring. He has evolved to be more of a team player and I love the overall chemistry of the Barca players. They play for each other and it shows.

  10. Madrid lost a few key players while Barca played with how much under 20s? This just shows another loss for Madrid…loss in talent management…how much reasoning you could pull out from this defeat, that much reasoning too will be the sole reason Barca superiority over Madrid…

  11. Xabi here getting lessons from Cholo Simeone. He knew He had no chance against this barca team with full strength. Individual brilliance and lucky goal really helped them stay in the game
