  1. Disingenuous to say the ref made it about himself. Real Madrid released a montage of his refereeing errors before the final; effectively a smear campaign that affected his personal life.

  2. These pundits are clearly the B or C team – Clear penalties not even looked at: Ceballos pulling Cubarsi's shirt off (literally) to prevent him from reaching the ball.
Rudiger clearly hacking Ferran's standing leg inside the box.
Then looking at how many despicable fouls Madrid got away with: Rudiger kicked and hacked Dani Olmo and Ferran on several occasions and should've been sent off During the match. Vasques intentionally putting his studs into Rapha's ankle/foot and not even getting booked.
This ref caved under the pressure ffrom posts BY MADRID-TV…..plus the refs interview is a Copa del Rey TRADITION that happens Every year – the only reason these clueless muppets know about it now, is because VARdrid deliberately and nefariously attacked his character before the game.

  3. 3 penalties not given to Barcelona. Handball by Valverde, Rudiger kick on Ferran in penalty box, and Ceballos holding Cubarsi back from reaching the ball in the corner kick.

  4. Hala Madrid para siempre! ⚪️ 👑 congrats Barcelona. Tibo cortois run out was costly and unbecoming of a goalkeeper of his experience. No excuses though.

  5. If the controversial plays of the match (penalties on Cubarsi and Ferran not called and a red card for Tchouameni that resulted in a yellow card) had been reversed, we would now be talking about theft, scandal, and Negreira…

  6. Even with 3 penalties and multiple cards not given, even with Lewandowski and Balde out, Barcelona still wins. RMTV crying in public put pressure on the ref to help them and it showed, but even with 12 players they can't beat Flick's Barcelona. 2/4, now time for Inter.

  7. I would not be celebrating the referee because he missed two clear penalties and let Tchouameni away with a red card. So no, he didn't do a great job. Which is what Real Madrid wanted by posting the video and making this about refs. Luckily Barcelona won.
