  1. dude is always clutch when it matters
Leaving City was one of the best decisions of his life. Alvarez is on fire and City’s worst decision as well to let him go.

  2. Alvarez bouncing on his foot at that speed and tapping it in. The announcer said it right "time stands still for them" talking about really in the zone strikers. anyone whose played has done it a couple times(seconds) but to be a real professional you gotta clutch whole games like that. some many props to Julian. that was amazing.

  3. Rarely watch Atletico but it was fun to see Alvarez and de Paul together. Also I like how Griezman and Alvarez seemed on the same page. Nothing like the Mbappe Messi disaster in PSG.
These announcers are dicks, though. Unfairly critical of both goals. I'm like, guys, did you see all the work he had to do to get the shot off? It's not like he was just standing there, chilling. To score as he did, simply amazing. Genial.

  4. My god when Simeone gets that evil smile look on his face, he just knows. Down 1-0, down a man, and Simeone is smiling like a mad man because he knows this team does. Not. Quit. ¡Te amo Atleti!!!!!!

  5. That second yellow on Hincapie should have been given the other way. Llorente made no attempt to play the ball and threw his leg across, intentionally causing the contact. Hincapie had nowhere to go. He did not commit a foul, but was fouled.
