Really unfortunate they lost the euro league final to atalanta, referring to their streak. Atalanta however wrote a great story themselves and played an awesome match, so also well deserved

Atalanta's man to man press was phenomenal and outrageous as usual. However there were glimpses of Leverkusen exploiting this in the first half lobbing the ball over and leaving Leverkusen forward (frimpong) on 1v1 against djimsiti or kolasinac . But then again , atalanta's centerbacks are designed for this . Extremely solid and dont call or wait for help like other clubs defenders

What Dortmund did, was to just try and park the bus, instead of pushing, really trying to make life hard for the attacking team
City did the same against Real, the year they won the CL, when they were pressing Real even far down into realās own half
Atalanta press was relentless. I think it caught Leverkusen off guard. But most importantly, everyone on Atalanta was tracking back to occupy spaces which made it difficult for Leverkusen to play their fluid game. So many passing lanes blocked by Atalanta bodies which is why even if Leverkusen had most of the ball, they didnāt look really threatening.
This is the same guy that said only Real Madrid would beat this Leverkusen. Punditry is a joke, so are most pundits, even the ones who where professional players.
