In current PL it's not losses that kill title charges, but draws. Liverpool know it all too well after losing less games than City in 19 and 22 yet still painstakingly missing out on the league. Remember, one win and two losses is better than two draws and a loss. Gone are the days where the title could be won with 83-85 pts by playing mostly to not lose (old style football) and end up accumulating a lot of draws
