  1. This is the issue with some Arsenal fans we often struggle to acknowledge when our players aren’t performing as expected. Ask yourself: why did Chelsea let Havertz go? Why was Arsenal the only club that showed interest in him when Maresca made it clear he had no place in the team? Can you honestly compare him to players like Haaland or Isak? The answer is clearly no.

If Arsenal were to put Kai Havertz on the market today, it’s unlikely that any Premier League club would bid for him; if there were interest, it would likely come from Germany rather than England. It’s not about how many games he has played it’s about the quality and impact he brings, which simply hasn’t met expectations. Opponents are rarely concerned when they see his name in the starting lineup.

Arsenal need to be more strategic in their signings and avoid acquiring underperforming players just for the sake of making transfers. Another example is Raheem Sterling. Then there are players like Tomiyasu and other injury-prone signings players that Arteta was warned against buying. What have they contributed to Arsenal besides collecting hefty salaries?

Arteta is now aware that some of these acquisitions haven’t worked out, and he is looking to rectify those mistakes.

  2. I’m not sure why everyone is panicking about Havertz’s injury. The guy has been useless anyway and is essentially a waste of space. What value has he actually added to the team since joining Arsenal from Chelsea? There’s a reason Chelsea let him go, but Arsenal foolishly went ahead and spent a lot of money on him, which is now affecting their ability to sign quality players in recent transfer windows. If Kai Havertz were on the market today, I doubt any club would go near him or even make a bid.

In a way, Havertz’s injury might be a blessing in disguise. It could open the door for Arsenal to sign a new striker in the summer and give Arteta the chance to reshuffle the squad and give opportunities to other players. This could be a turning point for the team.

  3. The whole world is laughing at Arsenal for the way they have handled this winter window. The board have screwed Arteta big time 🤕. Hope a surprise youth player can step up and rescue us until Saka comes back.
