The likes of saka are formidable because of this, you’re not sure if he’ll cut in or cross it, hence why someone grabbed a chair this game when saka drove at him. Back in 22/23 arsenal were playing beautiful football and thrashing teams left and right. The only reason they crumbled towards the end was psychologically imo.
If you go back to that team’s roster, it was Rice in the six and Xhaka in the eight if i’m not mistaken.
Rice and MLS resemble that formation more than Rice and Zubi does.
I’m glad Arteta finally realized MLS belongs in the midfield. Hopefully he will start against Atletico.
