  1. Everyone talks about Messi's age but nobody talks about how Argentina's midfield is arguably BETTER than 2022. Enzo Fernández has evolved into a complete midfielder at Chelsea, Mac Allister is running Liverpool's engine, and De Paul never stops running. The real question isn't whether Messi can do it – it's whether Scaloni can manage his minutes smartly through the group stage. If Messi arrives fresh at the quarterfinals, Argentina is beating anyone.

  2. Copa America played every 2 years, not that impressive.. Spain back to back euros with World Cup in between way better than Argentina.. they didn’t need a penalty in every match

  3. The recurring mistake from European players and media is treating Argentina national football team as if its success were a one-off, rather than the continuation of a proven elite cycle. This is a team that not only won the FIFA World Cup 2022 but has sustained performance, identity, and competitive maturity since then. By contrast, sides like Spain, France, England, and Portugal are often judged more on potential or individual talent than on consistent collective achievement. The idea that Argentina sits below them ignores recent results, cohesion, and the fact that discussions about historic greatness have already included this Argentine side, something those European teams have yet to firmly claim in their current iterations.

  4. Winning a world cup is just very difficult….Argentina won last time and for as great as team they were there was some bounces that had to go their way. Just from a statistical standpoint, the odds are naturally against a team from winning back to back.
