  1. English fan of Bayer Leverkusen since 2016 and I've already booked my ticket for the final game of the season. Hopefully it's the one where we lift the trophy!

  2. I like Leverkusen, but to call it one of the top 4-5 clubs in Germany overall seems a bit much in my opinion. If we look at tradition: Bayern, Dortmund, Gladbach and even second division clubs like HSV, Schalke are higher rated in my opinion. And there are others as well. In terms of performance over the last 10 years, they are on the better side but still I wouldn‘t put them in the top 4-5 teams. I do wish them all the best though and even though I feel for Kane, I hope they win the league this year.

  3. Ask Schalke and Dortmund on how not to count your chicks until the last kick of the game in the Bundesliga. I believe after the table will take a turn after this weekend.

  4. Not the most universally liked club in Germany, but there's definitely an element of respect for them, helped by the fact they're not as ridiculous as a few others.

  5. It’s no surprise. The men’s football team won the DFB Pokal and and a UEFA Cup. The women’s football team is doing really well too. Two really good managers, excellent players and coaching staff. Both teams play excellent football.

  6. Until Bayer Leverkusen actually wins the Bundesliga at long last, they will still be known as NEVERkusen. What a story it would be if Alonso creates history with them. Even so, I hope he stays with them for the Champions League next season and continue to learn and develop.
