  1. He's just not consistent as a goal scorer. Tries to over complicate everything and doesn't have the accuracy. He's probably better as a player just in front of the midfield, creating a lot of stuff and using pace and skills, rather than being labeled as a goal scorer cuz he definitely is not that

  2. He rescued Liverpool when the play 1-0 down, and with Van Djike out, Liverpool was in trouble! Nunez comes of the bench and scores two goals! What a player!?

  3. Henry speaking absolute facts here 💯. He is a pure confidence player who needs belief. You can see he wants to impress everyone with finishes that break the net everytime. A truely phenomenal player in the making who can be one of the best ever strikers.

  4. Honestly I never felt Nunez was a flop or even a bad signing… He really impressed me I'd rate him like Diaz and would gladly take a signing at such caliber at Arsenal even as a gunner when we're doing so well rn.

Liverpool really needs to sort out their midfield and defence right now to actually make the whole system link.

It's basically long balls and hoping the front three go behind the defenders whilst the defenders drop a mistake these days.

Their defense have been jaw dropping too….Only Robbo still has the passion to drop back after going forward.

  5. what Thierry mean here is when he look at darwin nunez, he sees nunez in him a player that came for replace other and the club and fans has high hope so he to rush.

  6. I can’t agree more as a Liverpool fan, we can see he’s not confident, whenever he had the ball, notice that he always look to pass it, when he gets his confidence (like the game against United), he will be a beast

  7. Well he’s starting to wow people now. Nice counter attack assist against Everton in the derby, thunder strike against Newcastle and world class goal against Madrid. Not bad for the Liverpool “flop” lol

  8. I think people are impatient simply because he was bought for 100 million.. That is not a cheap signing and for that kind of money people expect that he is gonna perform the second he gets to the club. Haaland went to city and immediately started to perform, also Sadiu Mane was so sold so cheap compared to Darwins price…

  9. To be fair, Darwin’s pace is phenomenal and he is able to create a lot of chances, but it seems like once those chances come, he tends to panic and overthinks his shot, causing a lot of misses. Once he gets to be more clinical in front of goal, he’ll be nearly unstoppable.
