  1. As an Arsenal fan, I think we need more top players to create depth. When you're fighting for the title, you pick only the best from the market.

  2. I don’t think it will happen for several years, it’s a short term plan to get a core group of young Arsenal players to a certain level after which other high level options will be signed to bulk up the squad. long term the people not playing now will likely not have Arsenal careers much longer.

An example is If Saka is already used to 60 games a season, imagine how fresh he will be when we start trying to win all 4 trophies and he has a rotational option who can also play to a very high level at RW.

  3. If they get burn out now, that means City win the title. It used to be 3 teams competing, is now only 2. Please go all the way Arsenal🙏❤️‍🔥

  4. This has been a problem for many years with top clubs being in 4 or 5 competitions and they never complained back in the day, yet they do now, and players don’t train as hard as they were 15-20 years ago as they’re only aloud to run a certain amount of km. This makes me laugh though as players nowadays have access to better facilities and personal chefs and things like that and they complain still complain about the schedule. I don’t see what the problem is, especially when you earn over 100k a week. Just shut up and get on with it

  5. Saliba is one of 5 players in the Premier League who have played every minute for their team, 3 of them are GK, the other one is Max Kilman. Saliba is the only one who plays for a TOP 10 team…

  6. The issue is like me when i buy a new pair of jeans, i buy them to get more rotation oit of the ones i got but then i favour the new pair and an older pair doesnt get worn anymore lol

  7. Its always around Christmas where you see how much of an advantage City have over the rest of the league cause of how insane the schedule is around then, and they pretty much alternate lineups every game while the other teams are knackered

  8. How did Alvarez clock 86%? I know Haaland and KDB have been injured some time and he sort plays as jack of all trades, but still. He's supposed to be a sub!

  9. As a United fan I clearly saw last year that Arsenal lost the league due to burnout, and I cheered for them to win it because I'm fed up of City becoming the new Bayern/PSG/Juventus of the Premier League, I love change.

  10. Since only 1 Liverpool player this season then what is their excuse? Players back in the 80s didn't complain so much

  11. I hate how the Athletic completely sports washes Manchester City. A financially doped squad is able to rest their players more than Arsenal? You don’t say!

  12. Elneny, Nketiah, Nelson, Smith-Rowe, Viera, Soares, and perhaps Zinchenko and Jesus as well.

Arteta knows that he can't trust them. Agreed. But why keep them in the squad then? Just offload them and add meaningful squad depth.
