They're not disrespected; they're just not good. American football (soccer) has adopted the model of their other major sports. Wait until you are out of college to connect to a professional franchise at 19-21yrs old. It's too late!
In any place they named, England, Scotland etc… those fans don't care where you are from. You play your heart out every week and show you deserve to be wearing that shirt that teams fans will love you, but everyone else will hate you 😅

That's because Clint Dempsey is sort of an embarrassment. Trying to be thug and all.
His mask is pretty thin and his insecurities make people nervous.
It’s true their accent and the terminology they use does go against them but It hinders managers more so than players.
Dempsey and Donovan were rated fairly by people when they played in the prem, at the end of the day players just need to do the talking on the pitch.
Managers however… it will be tough for you in Europe. Especially if you’ve not had a successful playing career to back it up, patience is not a virtue of most football fans.

It’s easy for Thierry Henry to believe that. But what Charlie and Clint are saying is the truth for us. Even as fans, the English hear our accent and immediately dismiss any of our opinions.
No brcause theyve made them selfs look so bad and they are bad at football that i dont think they deserve as much respect as like haaland you need to prove yourself and theyve done the opposite
