‘Ange always wins a trophy in his second season’ shouldn’t be taken for granted. He’s always climbed upwards in terms of the clubs he moved to and managed, yet he still performed admirably when given the chance and time. He can build a massively positive dressing room culture and a solid team identity if he’s given patience from the club owners and the resources to do so.
Klopp was lucky to come to the Premier League during a transitional period where the club was unsuccessful, but the British (and subsequently international) football media channels weren’t so strongly tied to algorithmic social media platforms that always (which seem to blow things way out of proportion for the sake of engagement).
Give Ange time and he will stand a good chance all proving his doubters wrong, and the worst outcome will be a cohesive squad with a more singular vision for potential playing style/s.
