I think that the problem is fairly simple…Real Madrid and La Liga really isn’t a long pass and run after it kind of league, it’s more about passing and finesse. That negates one of Mbappes strengths.
Also, as advertised he plays no defense…not bad defense…none, like doesnt involve himself. He doesn’t pass much and when he does it’s not to set up his teammates. That type of behavior isn’t going to make talented guys with good resumes like Valverde or Vini or Modric go out of their way to help you score.
