Late drama, shock comebacks and dominant wins — this weekend had it all!
Matchday 12 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season delivered pure drama, late goals and statement wins: Bayern left it late to beat a battling St. Pauli as they scored twice after the 90-minute mark, Dortmund beat Leverkusen thanks to two fine headed goals, Heidenheim struck twice in added time to produce a shock comeback win and Hoffenheim swept Augsburg aside with three first-half goals to continue their unbeaten run.
Also, Saïd El Mala struck in stoppage time to give Cologne a share of the point, Hamburg gained a vital three points at home to high-flying Stuttgart, Michy Batshuayi scored a stoppage-time penalty to rescue a point for Frankfurt at home to Wolfsburg and Freiburg climbed up to eighth in the standings after brushing aside their 10-man visitors.

The other say I lost near a half hour of my day due to video reviews. They need to change it up and go with the NHL or NFL approach. NHL has a war room thats stationed somewhere without bias. You have a couple guys they can make the decision in 2 to 3 minutes. No need for the ref to have heart to heart conversations with each team, then play a round of charades miming a box, run 50 yards watch some video for a cpl minutes, run back 50 yards, then after all that announce the call on the field stands. Or the NFL. All scores automatically checked, so he can run his happy ass there right away if truly needed. Each team has a certain amount of calls to challenge, lets just say 3, if you waste time and stopped the game and got the first 2 challenges wrong, then you lose the 3rd.. You've gotta decide is it worth challenging this or not
