  1. Thank you for your time and effort. I particularly enjoyed how you drew the lessons of the past and brought them to the present. Far too often do we assume that the past doesn't repeat itself when if you look closely you can see the mistakes that we are doomed to repeat.

  2. This game is where Arsenal have loads the league. You can’t be losing to an out of form Liverpool when you’re going for the title. City for me

  3. Not sure I 100% agree with Neville on Trent not being able to play midfield. He did play midfield in the youth teams a lot. Other players have gone from full back to midfield. Lahm, Alaba to name a few. I think Trent's biggest issue for playing midfield is he's a bit lightweight. I would like to see him play some games there though when we actually play someone else at right back

  4. The thing is Trent does have 100s of games as a midfielder as a kid, he was the captain in the academy as a midfielder, so the point that he couldn't play midfield because he doesn't have the experience is totally incorrect

  5. Couldn't agree more about firmino. A credit to Liverpool he's been. Links the play brilliantly, superb touch he's got too. As a city fan, if he wants to stay in England, I'd take him for a 12 month deal, he's a sensational player

  6. Nunez is not £85 million… scouts should be sacked – all his goals at Benfica were tap ins and pens ~ unless they had a finishing coach to teach him it was pointless buying him. Never seen a striker look so uncomfortable running 1 v 1

  7. There will come a time where Nunez will deliver. Anyone with a footballing brain knows that he’ll grow to become a brilliant striker. Only haters with genuine agendas think otherwise.

  8. They're talking as if Arsenal played the Liverpool of old off the pitch they had 30-35 minutes of good play against the worst Liverpool side in years. Liverpool dominated the stats and they were lucky it wasn't 3 or 4. I know all the neutral want Arsenal to win and it's 'good for the league' but they've gotten very lucky in more than this gamr
