what would be more impressive is if the uswnt actually took the new deal…ya know since it is the same contract for both the mens and womens team…which means that they get what they want which is to be seen as equals and get equal pay. but i guess reality is not exactly as people would expect since the uswnt hate this new deal which gives them exactly what they wanted smh…which proves they don't actually want equal pay but they just want to get paid more. actually since the women made more total and more per game then the mens team, the mens team actually have grounds to sue for equal pay. they can even use last year as an example because the mens teams deal says if you don't play you dont get paid and last year during the pandemic because play was suspended for them they didn't play. while the womens teams deal gave them a base salary plus benefits and they did get paid last year. or something like that

This was not a challenging opponent. We have much harder games coming up. Defense was reacting 2 seconds after the play. You can't do that at this level. Our women were just on and the last goal was beautifully skillful, but 3 of those goals (at least) should not have hit the back of the net.
Big deal. Why don’t they do that agains top teams like Spain, Germany, Sweden, etc. This teams always beat the small and weak teams with a massive score, but when it comes to real top teams the story is not the same.

Rose Lavelle demonstrated very clearly why she should be handling the ball more often as the "quarterback" of the attack. I hope the coach recognizes this, and communicates it to his players.
