"he timed that jump to perfection"
When he mentions his salary does he not get it for his injury? What about insurance? Surely its changed now
"One team very on
their game today , the other very off colour"
Massively underrated player. Arsenal legend !!
Smudge is a proper gent. I met him when I was 10 before an Arsenal game and he gave me his autograph.
First time hearing him speak in real life instead of fifa
Not meant to like him as a Spurs fan, but he's gone from being overly biased towards Arsenal to being one of the best commentators in the business. By all accounts, he's a really nice bloke too.
This was more emotional than I was expecting. Must have sucked. Poor old smudge
"I don't go that far out for my holidays and he's scored from that distance. It's an incredible strike!"
Just came after watching something about Ian Thorpe, how weird…
Being pissed off from retiring from a stupidly overpaid job isn’t suffering from mental health. The amount of attention these mummies boys need is staggering.
stop pushing this mental-health issue agenda…as if men should be tender etc..I mean there are people with serious mental illnesses but…
Great player he was. Legend
(Man united fan)
Alan is a lucky man, that the Lord dealt him the cards of his apparent calm, laid back and philosophical personality. He comes across as a person prepared to take life one day at a time. He also had the fortune from the example of two other team mates of how sower life could taste. Tony and Paul.
IMO, most players below elite level, desperately need to be able to have at least a couple of hours a day doing some kind of work that would normalise they daily lives. This would or should make it easier to accept the transition when that final day comes.
Why would any muppet downvote a human being opening up like this?
Great goalscorer!
And it's in the stands!
Martin:"that reminded me of you in your prime alan"
Alan:" oH yOU"rE tOo kiND mArtIN
'He's beaten him with skill and will alan'
'Yep'
Had the impression he was a douche, but this paints a different picture. Fair play.
Could he not just speak about it, rather than 'honestly'? Sky at it again with these titles, just like how they say things get 'heated' when its just a discussion.
I absolutely love the interviewer’s voice
Three of the best, he’s made them pay, and that’s a wonderful hat trick
i wonder if martin is old enough to remember the goal posts being square?
FIFA LEGEND
SAF planned to be a manager long before he stopped playing.
News live
He’s not retired he works for sky just talking for a job it’s much easier and you can wear your own shirts on tv
Your too kind Martin
So weird watching him speak irl and not telling me I’m passing to someone in the crowd
Mad how his voice does not match his face
His voice is immaculate
One time very on there game the other team very off colour
Jesus Christ takes away all anxiety, fear and depression. You will feel his peace exceed through you. Accept him and let him work wonderous miracles on you. This is not a sham, Jesus Christ is real and loves every single one of us. His Heavenly Father God created every single one of us, accept him before it’s late and people burn in hell for eternity. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in life, in terms of sin, he died for your sin, he won’t condemn you, he wants your sin to cleanse it away from you with his Blood. There have been many evidence of Jesus in people’s dreams, and we have felt him, don’t deny him, Listen to us for your sake. God bless you all thoroughly🙏🏾✝️❤️
Top C.F , if he was about today he'd be worth a fortune. ✌👏👏
Alan Smith talking about injuries oh please your ugly Arsenal side under George Graham were Burnley back in those days back in mid 80s to early 90s.
legend
Too kind martin
Now Is the time for the quotes cmon
Rash Alan, reckless?
Worst commentator to ever grace the earth
First the seconds, cheers jeff
His whole face caved in and he was only out for 3 weeks don't know if I believe that, it'd be at least 4 weeks if his jaw was broken
