I remember being close to tears when this happened, Nedved was my favourite non-Liverpool player after Zidane at the time. He practically dragged Juve to that final. Clumsy foul, think he would have avoided the booking if he didn't swing the right leg after the initial tackle

What a tragic hero! Unable to play in the 2003 ECL final and Juventus lost. Injured during the Euro 2004 semi-final and Czech lost. 🙁
