The schedule is favorable only if Milan wins and Pulisic is the real star of this Milan. I am a Milan fan since the early 90s, and even though Milan currently has more flashy players, Pulisic is always decisive. Him and Maignan are the real pillars of Milan.

You are only as good as what you consistently produce. Leao and Theo have been inconsistent all season.

Inter got unlucky. They outplayed Milan but Milan scored theyre chances. This is a constant issue for Inter since Inzaghi. They miss way to many opportunities.
Inter didn’t deserve to go 2-0 up it was mostly balanced, the two goals inter scored were like sucker punches.

I wouldn’t say Inter got outcoached tactically. Asllani lost a very dangerous ball on the 1st milan goal and milan had way many more players that came on which have the pace and physicality to exploit the momentum and hurt inter on open field. Except thuram which was injured and dumfries inter lacked the physicality and speed to hurt milans high defense especially in the second half. It happened once with taremi but maybe with thuram it could have happened way more. Milan instead subbed leao, loftus cheek, abraham and had pulisic already on the pitch. In cup competitions this is what you need towards the end of the game, stamina and pace. Inter looked tired and as an inter fan i don’t understand why asllani was subbed instead of zielinski as he has shown (asllani) on multiple occasions he doesn’t have the same skill to play how inter plays, a bit slow and sloppy in a high intensity game like this one. Props to milan, you can’t lose a game like this on a 2-0 lead.

It doesn't really matter whoms team this is. It is a team and it was a great performance by the whole team yesterday. Pulisic however is undoubtedly the most consistent one at Milan this season. He delivers, regardless of the circumstances. Leao impact on the game however doesn't take anything away from Pulisic' performance. And as a European, German to be specific, I can assure you that we (at least those of us who keep their eyes open) do not think that players from the US can just run. Otherwise European clubs certainly won't sign them.
Edit: setting up the wall before the freekick was not that easy. The freekick came from a central position in front of the box and instead of Theo taking it with his left it could have also been Reijnders taking it with his right which seemed to Sommer's guess.
I hear talks about fine details about football that can make all go wrong all of the sudden but there is no mention of the MASSIVE mistakes made by the referee and his assistants during the match… come on guys being bias because your new owner also own AC Milan shouldn’t be as blatant…

Inzaghi was outcoached. He didn’t react with subs soon enough when Inter needed to stop the momentum shift after Theo’s free kick. Another mistake was inzaghi should have subbed off one of the strikers, (yes they played well and scored), but they were getting tired, and Inter needed to use counter attack and keep the pressure on Milan. Would have been nice to see Frattesi sub on for Taremi, leaving Barella on who was having a good game despite the complaining to the ref. Well done to Conceição and Milan. Looking forward to the derby on Feb 2nd
The first 20 seconds were enough to turn this off. I’m paraphrasing, “If Lautaro blocks Theo’s free kick, we wouldn’t be talking about Milan winning the game”. Not sure who you are or what you bring to this panel, but that is about the dumbest analytical conclusion I have ever heard as it relates to this game.
