I get what they are saying but the club should have informed him that he will not be apart of the team prior to the squad announcement. It was an obvious shock and by the tone of the statement he may feel as though he has been played a bit. Players get left out but not Sterling. He’s got to be one of the highest earners in the PL. He’s been crap for while but I get why he did it.
Even Southgate didn’t want Sterling..he hasn’t been good since he came to Chelsea..why are the other Premier League clubs are not interested in him?

It’s 1 of 2 things and neither is good for Chelsea
1) the manager is a chickenshit who doesn’t know how to communicate honestly to a veteran player and bullcrapped him and now Raheem is rightly furious
2) Chelsea don’t have a manager, they have a eunuch who doesn’t get to decide his own 11. If this is the case, there’s no point having a discussion with the manager behind the scenes because he has no power, the actual bosses won’t talk to him, so there’s no choice but to go to media

Can Sky remove Sturridge from the match day squad……. Thought CBS had got him on a free in the summer transfer window but seems to have returned.
He wanted a move and now it looks like he's going to get one. He might not have played well enough for Chelsea but how many have? Apart from Palmer there are very, very few people in that match day squad who have performed at a top level consistantly and several who have been awful, not to put him in the squad and take his and Colwill's numbers from them, that's the utmost disrespect. If you don't want him, tell him it is time to move on at teh start of the summer and sell him, it is as simple as that.

Raheem sterling's problem is entitlement mentality. He thinks he is entitled to play every match. He's not a priority in for the team. First of all, he's a very selfish player who will rather waste the ball than to pass it to a fellow player who is better place to score.

Why when the clubs/managers treat players however they want it's the onus on the player to be professional. If they aren't going to use him at least let him know early to seek play time elsewhere. Not everyone is willing to just sit on the bench to collect their check.
Sterling sees the end approaching.. and it's hard when since a teen you've been hyped up and failing to reach full potential!
Fact is he has good spells but not consistent enough…and in good spells still misses a boat load of opportunities. Decent player still

If you take more positive look to it, Raheem is highlighting how ridiculously large the squad is and silly decision makers by taking the hit in this manner. Pretty he wouldn’t even consider this drastic action if there wasn’t huge discontent amongst the majority of the players themselves.
