  1. As a Liverpool from Cork Ireland and a kid of 70s was saddened to hear of Dennis "Lawman" passing he was a giant in football and a true legend mat he RIP πŸ™ .

  2. I grew up with Dalglish being my hero in Scotland but my Dad and Grandad would laugh and say he wasn’t anywhere near Denis Law. As far as they were concerned Law, Best and Charlton were almost of immortal status, divine in ability. RIP The Law Man. πŸ’™πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ

  3. What a legend rip from north east Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Aberdeenshire sure he was brought up in Powis was a rough are back in the day lucky the house's in the are had Windows but that's where the legend's came from

  4. Rest in peace King. Loved your stories of the late great Jinky Johnstones boat trip πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Two guys who totally deserve the status of Legend. Thoughts and prayers with your nearest and dearest πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™β˜˜οΈβ˜˜οΈβ˜˜οΈ

  5. The last of the United Trinity has now sadly fallen. Another legend that fought so hard against his battle of dementia just like he always did. He was a true warrior that'll never be forgotten & will always stand in our historical folklore. My condolences to all his family & friends may Denis Law RIP that he forever deserves

  6. As a Liverpool /scouser, I was so sad to hear of the death of this great man . I,m at an age that remembers Law ,Best and Charlton play in their "Pomp" . Law is regarded around the world as a great player as well as in this country . Not many British grown players have achieved abroad as well as at home as Law . When he retired ,I always looked forward to his views as a pundit .Very wise and fantastic humour . Great human being . REST IN PEACE GREAT MAN .

  7. An absolute legend, before my time but hearing the stories of the trinity were part of why I fell in love with this club. RIP to the immortal king of Stretford End. The trinity is finally together again ❀

  8. I saw Denis play a number of times at Villa Park. This kind of hero transcends rivalry. Greatness is banded about too many times these days but Denis was a true great and will be remembered by all of the football community with affection and awe. He truly was 'The King'. RIP Denis. πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”

  9. Thank you so much for the fabulous memories Denis. On 29 May 1968 it wasn't just those who died at Munich that occupied our minds, it was also you Denis. R.I.P. "The King"

  10. Someone or something forgot to put the "Quit" into Denis Law. Wonderfully talented, fiercely competitive, a genuine giant of the beautiful game. The term "legend" does not justify his brilliant career. Saddened by his passing, eternally grateful for the memories; now rest easy, King of the Stretford End

  11. He played under Shankly at Huddersfield Town. When Shankly left H'field to go to Liverpool he wanted to take Dennis Law with him but Liverpool couldn't afford the fee. The rest is history.

  12. I will never forget his reaction to scoring in the Manchester derby that relegated Utd – massive respect from him to his former team you could see how devastated he was

  13. Started supporting Man Utd because of Denis and George.
What a player and such a lovable character, lightning in the box.
There’s a goal he scored at Spurs (1966 )where he just hangs in the air before heading into the net.
Dennis Bergkamp was named after him by his parents, although his name is spelled differently.

  14. Denis Law forever the King, RIP❀
So sad to hear this news, Denis was my boyhood hero and I had the honour to meet him and his family on a few occasions.
As well as being one of the greatest strikers, he was also a wonderful human being. With a unique character, charismatic but modest, humble but with a razor-sharp wit and elbows to match.

  15. This is not only about the loss of a fantastic footballer but also a family man.
Denis law was lovely person with a kind heart.
It does not matter weather you support Manchester United or Manchester City.

  16. Got his autograph many years ago.He was over in Newcastle co Down playing for Scotland at Windsor park In the original Home Internationals .!!! The King was a true hero for United not like some of today's.Denis the Menice the Stretford End used to roar.!!!!
