  1. Henry : Ex great players need great players

Jamie : You need to have the drive to get to the top

    Mike : I'M HOLLYWOOD, BABY๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

9 minutes of real talk closed by the blast ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Man gotta love him

  2. This team is the best thing to happen to football broadcasting ever. They are so so good!

If the format/concept was just a liiiiiittle bit broader, I could see them as the football version of "Inside the NBA" which is the top level example of what a sports show can be.

The guys are experienced, funny, have a great chemistry together and very insightful.

And then Kate…she's fine but, more than anything, refined. A great contrast to Molly and her selfimportant self. She is exactly what a moderator should be like ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. It has always been my observation that a very few great players become great managers; Zidane being an exceptional.

Was told that average players become great managers bse they spend much of their playing time on the bench hence learn more.

This is same across professional sports, very rare to see Michael Jordan, Lebron or Messi become best managers

  4. I really respect Jamie's reason basically boils down to not wanting to move his family. It's a very human thing that we don't consider the toll being in that position has not just on the person but those around them

  6. Tim Sherwood made a great point all these new football terms and tactics have been around for decades gegenpressen is what ireland were doing in the 90s the game has always been about players who won the workd cup Argentina why because they had the best player and the rest of the team worked their butts off simple as

  7. Disagree with Titi here. A Great manager which galvanizes a team to perform to a level beyond the sum of it's parts. Henry was a disaster in Monaco and players were glad when he was sacked. Managing requires much more than showing off in training.

  8. I love Henry but Monaco were playing awful when he was in charge. They weren't playing well before and as soon as he got there it got even worse and it wasn't because of injuries but of lack of a concept. Maybe he'll get another chance to prove himself in Europe and I wish him all the best. One way or the other he's a legend of the game!
