  1. Fantastic video. It’s a shame that MLS thinks Columbus doesn’t deserve to keep the club. It really shows a lack of commitment from the organization to its loyal supporters.
They want us to care about soccer in America yet they don’t care about it’s fans or it’s history that Columbus was a part of.

  2. I miss the old Crew branding a lot. It really spoke to me, as a son of a Cincinnati factory worker. That's what it was for, it reach out to all the industrial cities around Ohio and the midwest. The Crew have fans in Cincy, Cleveland, Dayton, Louisville, Lexington, INdianapolis, Detroit, and of course Pittsburgh (why do you think they chose yellow/black). The old logo even had the arches that you see all over Columbus. The shape of the shield reminded me of the shape of Ohio.

The new crest says nothing about Columbus or Ohio of Midwwest to me. You could make the arguement that it looks very Indiana because of the fact that it looks like a racing logo (black tire shape, checkered flags, illustration style), but the Crew promised us a crest that would represent the local culture and history. Ohio has the best flag, a cool state shape, and a long economic history, yet none of that was included in the crest. I will always wear gear with the old logo and I'll always wear my contruction hat to games.

  3. I'm from the UK and have been fascinated by the mls for a few seasons now and I'm still yet to properly tie down a team but the Crew are definitely someone I'm considering calling "my own" !

  4. The entire state of Ohio has that energy. Like we went through tough times and now we are all better for it. We are more artistic and creative, and it shows especially in Columbus. I love Ohio and being Ohioan and I love the Crew. I don't think that will ever change. Be Massive!

  5. I hope if they make the playoffs the stadium actually sells out. I'm from Ohio and damn around of it, I get OSU clearly had the best possible year. You're not an Ultra if you flake your club during playoffs to party a TV game. Typical of Ohio though American football is die hard tradition, even high school games.
