The most spectacular news of the January transfer window was that Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez both signed for Liverpool Football Club. Just as important as the arrival of these two players was the departure of Fernando Torres for £50m to Chelsea (which is a British transfer record). So the big question that everyone is asking now is ‘How will these deals affect the line-up of Liverpool’s team?

It’s Premier League match time at St James’s Park on Saturday, February 5, when Newcastle host Arsenal in match week 26. Newcastle have had 4 each of wins, losses and draws, in 12 home games, this season. Arsenal have won 7 of 10 games on the road while drawing 2 and losing just the one. On current form, Newcastle will have their hands full keeping Arsenal from banking full points.
