  1. Every time Real need it a GOAL,Ronaldo was there to put them through!!!The reality is that without Ronaldo,it will take years and years to recover!!!!!!!!

  2. Is Danny delusional or what? No more Galacticos? Oil money has poured into the game. Teams like City and PSG have the same, if not bigger, buying power to match Real. Yes, Real still has the prestige in their name, but money can still sway some players' decisions. Some people should never be invited back to talk football.

  3. Quick note: Juv are on the brink of defeat, so got to give Zidane credit. Probably hes bigger reason for the decline than people say. Ronaldo is brilliant don't get me wrong but Zidane made everyone better. Look at the final of Champions League wasn't Ronaldo who shined it was Bale

  4. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO YOURSELF? THE COMMENTS ON YOUTUBE MAKE EVERYONE SADDER AND DUMBER AND MORE ARGUMENTATIVE. ALSO, IF YOU'VE COME HERE TO ARGUE, DEBATE, OR REASON, YOU'VE ALREADY LOST THE ARGUMENT. THIS IS YOUTUBE, YOUR WORDS MEAN NOTHING.

EDIT: Y'all actually watch the videos, or just respond emotionally to their titles?

  5. Have to disagree with them a little here.
I understand how much of an impact Ronaldo was in Real winning 3 UCLs on the bounce but he moved there in 2009 and up until Zidane became manager all Real could muster was 1 Liga title.
That was all while Ronaldo was doing fantastically and winning Balon d’Or’s too.

And I think Zidane being the person he is would’ve had a bigger impact on players making sure they play well more than Ronaldo would’ve been.
Solari just seemed outspoken at Real by players that had been there longer and had earned more respect by fans (I’m talking Ramos and co.), with Zindane’s history at Real he wouldn’t have settled for anything less than perfect.

  6. Zidane was (and still probably is) an incredible player, but surely Real Madrid's best player ever was Alfredo Di Stefano followed by Ferenc Puskas.

  7. I feel like Bale won’t be their star. His time of stardom was overshadowed by Ronaldo. Bale won’t recover that period of time where he could grow and shine, he’s had too many injuries, his relationship with the players is strained, his relationship with the fans is too toxic, and I don’t think he could work through that or get that back.

  8. Their only success came from the Champions League. In each of the past 5 seasons, with the exception of 2017, they have always had a bad seasons, losing La Liga and Cope Del Rey to Barcelona, having to put everything on the Champions League to save their season. It's funny, for people who have not been watching them day in day out, by just looking at their UCL success, you'd think they are a team which didn't have problems but in fact they were having all sorts of problems and relied heavily on doing good in the last two months of the seasons to save themselves.

  9. Inevitable really. For several reasons. Loose your manager, loose your best ever player. Other players Modric, kroos, Marcelo, ramos, Bale etc are all declining now. Last season they scraped through on a number of occasions in the champions League. They weren't great last season in la Liga either. Zidane and Ronaldo saw which way the tide was turning which was why they both went. They knew they simply couldn't repeat it again. They need a Sqaud overhaul and young manager with fresh ideas.

  10. Real Madrid have struggled in La liga and in copa del ray for 10 years? They’ve only been good in the recent years in the champions league with Ronaldo being there? So the dip has been there.

  11. Is all down to Ronaldo leaving and not being replaced properly. Zidane has nothing to do with this, Zidanes team played the same if not worst than Solaris side, he was bailed out by the teffs and Ronaldo. Ill never forget the Zidan's team being booed at the bernabeu for playing like crap, Zidane is nothing but a lie as a manager, great player he was tho
