  1. Raphael Claus has been known to be bad. From the fixed red card allegations and the fact that they didn’t call one card on Bosnia until the 85th minute (a yellow on the manager in the 79th as well for obvious red card actions) stood out for me. It was bad. Claus never needs to be assigned to World Cup matches again.

  2. Its cool because at that moment, I turned the world cup off and decided that was enough soccer for this year. This is why the sport is unwatchable, no accountability and bias can ruin an entire season/tournament. Cant wait to find out the whole tournament is sour because of rampant sports gambling.

  3. That’s a clear red. Intent has nothing to do about. It’s unfortunate that he landed on top of the opponent’s ankle, but accidental or not, the severity of this moment 100% allows for a red card to be shown.

  4. The red card is debatable. The issue that isn't was the ref allowing BH to pull shirts, wrap players up whenever they drove pass them. These should of all been yellows.

  5. Balogun stomped on his ankle while the foot was on the ground and then threw his weight onto the player making it a dangerous foul. Messi clipped the back of the player's knee with his own which triggered the fall THEN he TAPPED the calve of the player with the tip of his foot and IMMEDIATELY NEXT FRAME lifts his foot and backs off from the player to prevent the player any harm. The actual foul was Messi kneeing the back of the player's knee. Everything after was Messi with a clear intent to not harm the player. Y'all have the audacity to then defend what Bruno did. Y'all needa learn the rules lmao. Even the opposing team and player didn't complain cuz NOTHING HAPPENED that deserved a card lol.
Stop using Messi and this Anti-Messi narratives!!

  6. Key to the Belgium game is the US team jersey , if they wear the ‘ where’s Waldo ‘ jersey the opposition can’t find em and the US downs those old timers from Brussels no problem

If they wear the alternate jersey the Belgium team that the combined skills of James T Kirk , Indiana Jones and Dora the Explorer have never previously been able to find at a World Cup will surface and they will give your boys an absolute battering !

    It’s that simple

  7. Ignorant pundits, intention does not matter, messi no red does not matter. All that matters is that this one is a straight red, no debate. It’s not because messi was forgiven red one time, that should be a rule for everyone. And to be clear, this one, was much more dangerous than messi do to the excessive force. But both are red.

  8. The ref refused to give any card to Bosnia first half and most of the 2nd half until the coach. He didn't control the game and I doubt he will ref any further. FIFA is the most corrupt league on all earth. It's like the NFL, if you're a star you won't get penalized or get every call. Messi and Balo, almost same exact play, but Messi brings in money and ratings.

  9. I understand what the host is saying but I don't agree. It's a red card or it's not. If it's not a red card for Messi, then it's not a red card for anybody. The ref was soft. He didn't call it during the course of play and should have not allowed the VAR to talk him into it. Watch FIFA now ban the USA player for (3) games. Just in case they get past Belgium.
