Barely pushed him, goalie doesn't contain the ball to get scored on, and then rolls around on the ground holding his face like he got hit when nothing of the sort happened to get declared a foul. The last part is what got me. It's one thing to declare interference and it's other playing a pity party pretending to act injured.

  2. At first, I had a hard time understanding how this wasn't a goal when the USA had a similar header that led to a goal while in contact with the goal keeper. Then I realized that the German player didn't even contact the ball. What happened was the German player's contact with the goal keeper manipulated the goal keepers play on the ball, which then ricocheted into the goal. That is the difference. That is why the goal didn't count.
