Late drama, shock comebacks and dominant wins — this weekend had it all!
Matchday 12 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season delivered pure drama, late goals and statement wins: Bayern left it late to beat a battling St. Pauli as they scored twice after the 90-minute mark, Dortmund beat Leverkusen thanks to two fine headed goals, Heidenheim struck twice in added time to produce a shock comeback win and Hoffenheim swept Augsburg aside with three first-half goals to continue their unbeaten run.
Also, Saïd El Mala struck in stoppage time to give Cologne a share of the point, Hamburg gained a vital three points at home to high-flying Stuttgart, Michy Batshuayi scored a stoppage-time penalty to rescue a point for Frankfurt at home to Wolfsburg and Freiburg climbed up to eighth in the standings after brushing aside their 10-man visitors.
