I still think a GoFund should be set up by for the real life Coach Eak, he deserves an easier life, not a free ride, just easier (education/house). Having lost both parents and his brother to local diseases. It would need to be made viral, so we could all send a few $$, and overseen by a recognised reporter, maybe that ABC guy, James Longman, who reported on the scene over those 18 days.
It's not his fault nobody should blame him for what he did he's a good person he helped the boys survive in the cave he did everything he could to help them stay alive nobody should blame him I don't blame him in fact I don't blame him at all for saving the boys life for being there for days but they survived because of him he was once a Buddhist monk and did you know that in Thailand Buddhist monk can get rid negative thoughts depression fears anxiety and whatever it is you're feeling from the inside nobody should blame him the coach is a good man he saved the boy's life and I'm grateful for it I am grateful that he saved the boys he's a hero and he did everything in his power to save them all of them you did it coach
He is no hero. He is selfish and irresponsible for bringing those kids in there without even asking the parents permission. What if the kids got bitten by a poisonous snake? What if the was a quake and sealed them in forever.
He is a Hero – but one adult and 12 kids in a dark cave? That doesn’t make good sense. Thank God all the kids are safe. But how about the two men that died?
His mind won't struggle? No Sir! He is former monk so he knows how to manage his Mind.
Mistakes are made but I cannot think of a single instance of owning your mistake and responding in the most positive sense to mitigate the damage. None of those boys died on his watch. Well done!
Difference between white people and brown. The whites would sue the coach because thats the best they know to do.
This coach is indeed a hero. Those monsoon rains came much earlier than usual and it was simply a freak of nature that caused this. As each of the boys and their parents can attest, he kept them calm and grounded with meditation and sacrificed his own food and water to keep them alive.
Criminal or Hero? Certain cultures are quick to blame the coach as a criminal while other cultures see the coach as a Hero. The difference between Western cultures and Asian Cultures.
He's a hero, if the boys had gone without him I don't think it would have had a happy ending, I cried watching interviews and in Thirteen Lives when he talks about the guilt he felt and then the unexpected out poor of love and kindness from the parents, like he was undeserving… you deserve all of it buddy, SO MUCH love and respect coming from Canada for you and the boys just an absolutely incredible story, gives me chills
Coach EK is better than my parent actually
If it were US he would be charged for sure
dont blame him. kids would have gone and him being there is a blessing
I'm curious did the coach get in trouble for taking the boys to the cave? I hope not. If that happened here in the USA that coach together with the boys school would be facing a deluge of lawsuit from the parents. So happy to see they were all rescued.
@2:39 What depression? These experts always always always believe that depression will follow someone after one feels he/she is to be blamed for some catastrophic event.
The message of their parents gives me tirs in my ice because in our country Philippines if u did small problem to their child they almost kill u.
I love it how the coach is the hero (propably cause he was a former monk) although he took the boys into that cave but no one thanks the divers and the rescuers where eventually a diver died trying to rescue the boys smh
If the coach wasnt there with these kids, I bet that these kids are dead by now.
No body better try to incriminate the coach cuz he tried his best to keep everyone alive and sacrificed his share of food for them, he was ready to die first if he had to in that cave for them so no body better be starting any rumors that what he did in there was criminal. Everyone made it out alive because the coach was calm and collected. Putting "criminal" on his name would be the true injustice here. People should be telling him how good he was in there.
thai pirates . vietnamese boat people . victims of the thai pirates . kingdom of thai . king of the dogs
Why this soccer team so happy, dont they know they almost die.
It’s not his fault, the water flooded sooner than expected. it flooded 2-3 weeks earlier than expected
Please dont blame him.
💖ขอบคุณมากนะคะ💖 😍😍😍😍
😢😢😢😢
0:36 they are making fun of him
Why do American psychologist believe that every tragedy would automatically cause trauma an depression. You don't know Asians,–we are very resilient. Bad events happen, we heal, we shake them off, we move on. We count our blessings, we don't feel like we're victims, even if some of us do not have much (material).
I always watch News from foreign media over Thai media.
Because I believe the foreign media is offering the truth
thanks abc. NEWS
If anyone blames this young man, they are out of their mind. No every person lives in a big city with 5 malls and alot of "city" things to do. A whole lot of people live around nature and therefore nature related activities are all they know. Like me, growing up on an island with not much to do besides adventuring into nature sports and nature exploration. People still havent understood moonson came early this year. At the time it was still NOT moonson season!! They used o go there, along with dozens of other peple all the time. It was just a freaky bad timing that moonson rains came earlier than expected!!
Here's the coach FB
เอกพล จันทะวงษ์ join in July 2011 – I scrolled through and no doubts why survived in the cave. They did many tough activities.
GREAT Reporting fABC or a wonderful and a pleasant ending for the rescue mission for the kids
I found a new COOL and Funny video game," Cave Rescue : Tham Luang Cave", is inspired by this event. You can download on Google Play Store and enjoy.
Trillion respect for Coach Ek #Namaste 🙏
Yippy for the idiot that lured these boys into a big hole! Lol Nice picnic dummy! Lol
ha ha ha there was nothing like that, the rescue team was much smarter than all that and they put the kids under a total anesthesia
I was concern about him how he would be treated after the rescue glad to hear the parents are with him because he is a kid too at 25 you still make mistake.
If you can in to deepest meditation your body will be hibernate Spirituality will enter into supreme peace.
The minute I read the story neither myself nor anyone where I'm from blamed him at all. I live in Washington state I know what its like to have it be all sunshine and then BOOM heavy rain! Bipolar weather is the worst and obviously the parents trust him and respect him and that made me so happy that was one of my big fears is that he'd get blamed for this and just so happy to see he's being met with love and not hate.
God the world thanks you. I am so happy for these boys, and coach. We thank the resucurers. The coach kept these boys alive period.
Exactly how was it his fault? The cave was open to visitors when he took the boys there. There was no report that heavy rain was going to fall.
Why are we always looking for someone to blame for something?
One day humans will soon start blaming other humans for volcanic eruptions.
2:26 Wow, what an interview.. was it scary?? ‘NO!’
They missed half of the World cup inside the cave, they must be traumatised.
My heart goes out to this young man. I hope he doesnt let this get him down. You are selfless and showed great courage and love for the boys.
