You can say what you like about Martin O’Neill, but he engineered a victory against a German team that not one of our players would have made it on to the starting 11. Just think about that for a minute. It also goes to show, there’s not a thing wrong with the odd long ball.
As an Argentine that I am, I think there was no better team to give us the revenge against Germany than that of my dear Irish, and even better if it is the magnificent Shane Long
