  1. OKAY SUCH AN AWESOME GAME!!! These ladies are my heroes. I have trouble some days getting up and writing or recording or building my audience and the amazing can-do spirit of these women gives me the gumption to say "I can get it done. I am a strong woman, I can get this done."

  2. who edited this game??? poor job. very poorly done. Who scored the first goal ?? we will never know because not one mention of jer name or shot of the back of her uniform. Was the ball never in the USA side of the field ?? Not one play from the back . Why did you not show any of the defense?? said in the comments that the Panama Goalkeeper did a great job watching this video you would think she was terrible. Fox Soccer you buy the game and lots of fans can't watch the game because your not even on the cable package.. the pain of modern life…and you give us the worst highlight reel . you suck fox

  4. The USWNT have been rolling this year, beating everyone that has gotten in their way. The rest of the France 2019 field should be SHOOK right now, because USWNT aren’t done yet.

  5. Oh my god Panama is so bad. I don't like the US's chances this WC. They could only score two non set piece goals against this team, and they play a horrific style of football. So many aimless long balls, crosses, and only score on set pieces, just like the men's team.

  6. Yes, 5-0 is a lopsided scoreline, but Panamá is developing, and they are playing very well, especially against the #1 team in the world that could be better than they have ever been. Panamá only conceded once in the second half while conceding four in the first. México conceded only one in the first yet conceded five in the second. Panamá grew into the game, México really didn't. Panamá arguably played better overall than México did against the United States. Panamá is ranked 66th in the world; México is ranked 24th.

Panamá's 17-year-old goal keeper pulled off many incredible saves (including a ricocheting double-save against a FIFA Player of the Year who scored the fastest ever hat-trick in a world cup final in the last Women's World Cup, Carli Lloyd.) Panamá is also definitely still in contention to qualify for the world cup. If they defeat or tie México in the last group stage match (because they are leading on goal differential), they will advance to the semi-finals, where three of the four teams are guaranteed a qualifying berth to the next world cup and the other one plays a play off against 37th ranked Argentina. If Panamá are good enough to beat México and make it to the semifinals, they definitely have a chance to qualify directly or though the playoff. Even if that doesn't happen, they have done well and can improve for the future. They even have a nascent domestic women's football league which can continue to grow and develop young talent.

Also, awesomely, México is also developing with Liga MX Femenil which is in its second season. The final of the Clausura 2018 had a record attendance for a women's club football match at 51,211. That's amazing, but I don't think its unprecedented status will last for very long.

TL;DR: Panamá is growing and did very well against the top-ranked team in the world (a team which has never ranked less than second). They show great potential and with focused development (which they are pursuing) they can grow to be a formidable opponent in the not-too-distant future. Other nations are following suit by investing more money, establishing women's leagues, etc.

  7. I'm surprised both teams weren't forced to wear their secondary colors. Panama is wearing red, and the US has red stripes on their shirts. Muh clashing colors

  8. Once again why is the USWNT in Concacaf(I know that’s their region but that’s not the point) instead they should be playing somewhere else like UEFA to get more competition. Concacaf is too weak for them
