  1. Look- Arsenal were naive and defended poorly in this game (and this era frankly) but this is one of those games that makes you wonder about VAR in the past. 2 disallowed arsenal goals that looked suspiciously like they were onside and a penalty at the end where you can have a big argument for overturning. Inconsequential, but just food for thought.

  2. 0:15 MAN CITY 1-0 ARSENAL 14' Sergio Aguero AR
0:53 MAN CITY 1-1 ARSENAL 31' Theo Walcott GB
2:06 MAN CITY 2-1 ARSENAL 39' Alvaro Negredo
2:43 MAN CITY 3-1 ARSENAL 50' Feranadinho BR
3:49 MAN CITY 3-2 ARSENAL 63' Theo Walcott GB
4:35 MAN CITY 4-2 ARSENAL 66' David Silva ES
6:50 MAN CITY 5-2 ARSENAL 88' Fernandinho BR
8:25 MAN CITY 5-3 ARSENAL 90+4' Per Mertersacker GER
9:24 MAN CITY 6-3 ARSENAL 90+6' Yaya Toure

  3. City have always played sweet football even before the arrival of Pep Guardiola and that gives me the confidence that after Pep, we won't be any bad provided our chairmen are committed to their duty.

  4. 1-0 Sergio Agüero (14 min)

    1-1 Theo Walcott (31 min)

    2-1 Álvaro Negredo (39 min)

    3-1 Fernandinho (50 min)

    3-2 Theo Walcott (63 min)

    4-2 David Silva (66 min)

    5-2 Fernandinho (88 min)

    5-3 Per Mertesacker (90+4 min)

6-3 Yaya Touré (90+6 min (PK))

  5. Classic Arsenal strategy:
Go on a winning run to attract fans.
Go on a losing run to, um, say "WeLl YoU pAiD fOr ThE sEaSoN tIcKeT"
And never ACTUALLY win anything important.
It won't change, whoever's in charge. If they DO get Guardiola he'd be, to quote a favorite phrase attributed to players, "Over The Hill and Past It".
You don't just spend to victory (look at Utd lol)
You FOMENT a WINNING MENTALITY. This takes years, possibly a generation.
