If I did a 2-3-1 I’d want the wingers to go up on offense for the Midfielder has 3 options, the striker can do a false 9 and drop in to get the ball when the wingers are marked. On defense I’d want the closest winger to the ball to drop with the CM roaming to find the space and the other winger to stay wide. Making it a back 3 including the GK if he’s good enough to be a defender it’d be a back 4 with the winger going into a midfielder role
Yeeaahh…. Might be overcooking it for my U9’s just yet 😂

Depends on age and ability level
Goood explanation
But is complicated you can only play what your saying if they train
I’m coaching a group of people for a seven aside tournament will try this
I think the way I’d do this is using a 231 and it turns into roughly the same shape but with a false 9 and proper wingers
