Personally for me I always prefer the bulkier ones because they feel natural and give my ankles the support they need since they always seem to get hurt😭
I mean, tbh, if a person is a beginner and plays for fun then $5 socks are perfect from them but if you're a professional, if you have enough money, why not spend it on yourself and treat yourself to luxury?
