what about sheffield uniteds 19/20 season?
No Underdog Story in the sport will ever top Leicester City's fairy tale run towards the EPL Title. Bayern Leverkusen is #2 but Leicester City is easily above & beyond the #1 Rocky-esque underdog saga in all of World Football/Soccer.
Kevin Keegan's managerial career is best remembered for his lopsided rivalry with Sir Alex Ferguson & his LOL rant at Fergie in an interview during the 1995-1996 EPL Season after Keegan's Newcastle threw away a 12 Point Lead to Sir Alex's Manchester United. Fergie forever lived rent-free inside of Keegan's head.
Leicester's underdog story is super incredible!

My team Ipswich finishing fifth on 2001 was a fantastic time for the club, but our collapse at the end of the 2002 season sealed our relegation which we took a LONG time to recover from. Would I sacrifice European football in 2001 for mid table survival in retrospect? Yes I would, we would maybe be now cemented in the prermier league, whereas now I fear we will drop again in 2027. If we finish 17th I will be amazed.
Leicester winning the league will never be topped but I cant believe what we did last season finishing 7th just amazing
Wished spurs won the pl during 15/16
Leicester City mannnn, beyond the unthinkable, so unfortunate for the former title holder playing in league 1
Underdog stories show that anything is possible
2015/16 was such a weird season, yet I didn't know that at the time as it was my first full season of watching football.

Should the Ipswich goal at 08:39 technically have been ruled out? It looks like his teammate touches the ball, before it has fully crossed the line.
Blackpool just getting to the premier league should be there
3:55 Look at the guy in the rain poncho thingy on the right of Ranieri..
Is that the bottle guy from last season ππ
Norwich 92/93 season not being on this list is a bit odd
isidor is one of the most underrated players in the pl
Tim Cahill, what a player, hard to think of a player in the modern game who has a similar profile
7 points behind with only 5 games left and yet it's somehow us who "bottled" the league. π (Not other actual top 5 club who were supposed to be challenging for the title)
And we weren't even in the title picture till 20ish games unlike leicester who always remained in and near top 3.
I personally think the rest of the teams on Leicester success they were on NPC type of vibe…
The goals that were scored you won't see them nowadays.
Leicester's story is the greatest underdog achievement in football history. We might look at it and be like yeah so what? But they were rock bottom with 8 games to go the season before, somehow survived and won the entire league the season after. It's crazy.
"Leicester's no.9 beats 10 and scores 11 in a row!!!" What a commentary!ππ
i wonder do english people realize how big is this and how huge it is to have a league and fotball heritage like this im jelaous of you guys so much
