22 Years in the Making: Ipswich Town’s Climb Back to the Top

After 22 years outside of the Premier League, @IpswichTown are back in the top flight of English football. Their journey, marked by highs and lows, saw the club endure relegation to League One in 2019 before a transformative takeover ignited a new era. With back-to-back promotions, the club and coach Kieran McKenna aim to build on this momentum and continue their remarkable resurgence.

  1. I hope Ipswich get a full promoted documentary like Leeds and Norwich did
Not that I’m a fan of Ipswich, I don’t like both Anglian clubs, but it wasn’t too long ago that the PSR threatened club was relegated to L1, and Marcus Evans neglected them not unlike Chansiri at Wednesday

  2. as an Arsenal fan, this is an emotional story for me…
To get back-to-back promotions, i really hope they do survive this time or maybe finish in the top 10

  3. My grandad was a huge town fan all his life, as have i been. He was in hospital in that last week of the season and passed away the night we got promoted. That game against Huddersfield will always mean so much to me as will this club 💙

  4. Arsenal fan from indonesia, but i hope ipswich town stays in prem , cause Elkan is indonesian player play for the highest tier of english football , such a proud to watch him on those level❤

  5. Brilliant film, sums up the club since we left the Prem 22 years ago. So many dark days, but since the new owners came in, and MA and KMcK, we can hold our own. Obviously would take 17th, but we may surprise everyone. First two games are Liverpool and Man City, if we take a point from either of those we're golden.

  6. Id like to compliment the commentator (my son Glenn) on the goals. He’s been with the club for two years and seen the club get back to back promotions and I’ve followed the journey too hopefully another good season to come
    Good luck Ipswich

  7. In the last few years the prem has had a few sleeping giants back with the likes of Leeds, Nottingham Forrest, Luton and now Ipswich. It's great to see a very competitive league with about 12+ teams that could all compete for european places and in recent years a 70's-90's spice to keep the league exciting with history and stories already created and many more to come. As an arsenal fan I'm excited to see us hopefully finally bring the premier league to the Emirates for the first time but as a football fan it's incredibly entertaining to see returning faces competing to stay in the league and keep that relegation fight fresh and appealing to watch.

  8.
