i love this tournament. I'm 35 now, I remember I use to travel with my friends just to watch it. Sometimes I use to listen to BBC Somali because I couldn't watch it. For 21 years, UCL never gets old. That orchestra hits my soul so deep. Of course, I'm a Madridista, the kings of the game.

Don't care how you spin it, this is just the latest in a long line of developments designed for increased revenue without any thought for the average fan or even the competitive nature of the tournament itself. This, combined with the domestic fixture schedule, can only be successully navigated by the sides that can acrew large, talented squads……in other words the richest. The old champions league format was getting dull, the same teams routinely making it through to the later stages. This will only make it………….duller. Shame
