Novak was very unfortunate to have turned the ball into his own net. He got his foot around the ball in a similar fashion to stop Pats scoring in the first half. The early goal always takes the caginess out of a game. Pats had to chase the game and they did so with style. Brilliant possession play, marvellous distribution and passing and absolutely devastating set-pieces. Pats were well rehearsed for this game and it showed. But what about the attendance ? 49,000, not to mention those watching on TV. I hope they will continue to support Irish football next season. It really is a great product.
FAI should be ashamed of themselves (yet again), taking fan displays that cost thousands of euro and hours of work only to dump them in the bins.

Both Ultras were incredible today, not a spot of trouble. Not much intervention from the steward which was good but I did see towards the end they were getting ready for a riot that never happened. Great display for what they could do. Could you imagine the scenes if Bohs had won!

Disgraceful by the FAI, taking both sets of fans displays away right before the match. Thousands spent by fans, not a penny of support from the FAI, the same fans that have been making the league exciting and attracting these increase in attendances. FAI shame Irish soccer again
