I may be hated on, but I think everyone is overreacting on youth U.S. players playing in Europe. For starters I don't understand why this is just happening and many others didn't start earlier. Second just because you go and play in Europe it does not make you a hotshot. You play in Europe congratulations. I am happy, but at the same time you're playing for Newcastle United. Who cares about them. I was looking at you Yedlin until you went to play for Turkey. Finally, some players are overrated. I think Dest and Mckennie are overhyped. Are they good players. Yes. I just don't think they will be the next big things. The only U.S. players I have respect for in Europe are Pulisic and Steffen. Pulisic won a Champions League while being a crucial part of Chelsea. I also have respect for Steffen because unlike Tim Howard I think he is a good keeper who will develop overtime in Man City and maybe eventually take over Ederson if he decides not to leave. What have Dest and McKennie done. Both of them could be playing in the MLS and they would still not stand out. Also according to reports McKennie sounds like an annoying person to be around. No wonder Juventus want him out
