  1. If you didn’t watch Bale play in this season, you missed out on big time. I would argue the season he had that year was the best individual season a player has ever had because he carried the entire team by himself week after week and deservedly earned himself his move to Real for a record breaking fee at the time and we all know how that turned out! He’s definitely the third best player of the last decade behind Messi and Ronaldo for me and it’s not even close in my mind

  2. I still remember that match in Champions League, where he scored a sensational hattrick, but unfortunately Tottenham lost 4-3 against Inter Milan.

  3. no words, this man is just too good, amd what he did for his national team even more special, he brought Wales to the Euro and World Cup, what an achievement.

hope he'll get happy retirement and a decent golf carreer.

  4. He was a no-nonsense winger, best in the world. No unnecessary dribbling. Shear speed, strength and accuracy in shooting. At the peak of his game no one can match him.

  5. No penalties, straight bangers from the wing. I think Bale was the fastest player that I ahve seen up until that point, how he was able to just knock it past defenders and run straight through on goal is betond me. Most of these goals are just outrageous quality, the only guy that had a season with this many bangers in the PL was Suarez.

  6. That season was my senior year of college and when I got really into Spurs watching on illegal streams. The energy was amazing and it felt like every time he took a free kick it was going in. Watching this back now makes me realize Olise now reminds me of him .. sad thing is Olise left the Prem even younger.
