  1. Oh this is a new one just say that you all were shite together you we're great in your respective clubs but couldn't play together and that's what it was blaming the manager, the weather, the fans ain't going to change tha fact that at the end of the day you lot we're play 11 v 11 against others and they beat you because they we're better then you.

  2. Terry was texting someone’s wife flashing his suit he didn’t had time to complain to the gaffer because his “trophy” was different from what the team had In mind.

  3. It’s always someone else’s fault… despite you being the best of a generation: how about you weren’t as good as you thought you wee as a collective

They would have won it all if only they had worn shorts and T-shirts

  4. Aw they had to wear suits in the heat and Germany didn't that just shows the horrid time they endured at the world cup 😂 they were sweating getting off the bus can you believe that.

  5. Biggest problem with the "golden generation" was the internal rivalries and cliques. They couldnt put these aside to perform for their country. Capello's attitude didnt help, he treated players like crap.

  6. You just werent on the level of Brazil and Us my friend as simple as that, you can bring in some of our best coaches that won't help either, because while you have Capello we have Lippi and a better player in every position on the pitch

  7. Capello was a thug and he knew what English players lacked back in his days was discipline, so he chose to go down hard on them and that didn’t pay off clearly but still I wouldn’t blame him, he’s been one of the greatest coaches ever and looking at what normal people endure during their life time, wearing a jacket isn’t that bad and you suddenly made me sympathetic towards Capello, John. This is a bit pathetic tbh. You lost a World Cup because you were not allowed to use flip flops lmao. Also, Capello is italian, they know how to properly dress themselves and I bet he was not using shorts or flip flops. Come on lads, this is pathetic.

  8. No wags No drinking for ten days , it’s not a holiday , it’s elite sport. Fans pay good money to go support the team .
Footballers say their careers are short all the more reason for those ten days to have discipline and make the most of the time you have playing football .

  9. I am from Italy and for us IT IS NORMAL THAT THE PLAYERS CAN'T DO ANYTHING BUT FOCUS DURING THESE TOURNAMENTS. Ask Maldini what discipline meand and why he played at good level at 41. English players aare overrated. You called Golden generation where in fact they weren't.

  10. Wow!! Players always know the reason the team is failing!! But they know they can’t say the truth!!! If you’ve been around players or in a team, you know players often know why the team is failing!! But they keep quiet cause the people making the decisions are up there in their clouds and think they know it all!!! So players just keep quiet, take their checks and go home! No need to fight wars they can’t win!!

  11. Capello won his many Serie A titles at a time when that league was at its peak and undoubtedly the best in the world. He reached three consecutive Champions League finals at a time when only the national champions were qualified and won the one in which all odds were against him. Two one year stints at Real Madrid and winning La Liga at the end of both. Plus winning Serie A with Roma, a club usually not expected to win the title.
It is more than obvious that Capello knew what it takes to be successful and win trophies. And yet Terry is trying to tell people that they lost to Germany because they had to wear suits?

  12. Commons JT, Capello had won everything as a coach. He did train Gullit, Van Basten , R9, Maldini, Baresi, Redondo, Heirro. With all due respect to Jose hes ain't better than Capello. Just because you was his trusted man doesn't make you right. Take into account at present time – Fenerbahce wasn't doing good in Turkish leagie despite all the investment.
