I've been telling this to my European teammates most of the time – the US produces a lot of decent goalkeepers because of the high exposure to baseball, boxing, basketball, & American football, sports that require good handling. American goalkeeper here who usually plays with Europeans, US Goalkeepers are massively underrated, hopefully people will see its potential one day
Friedel might be the best American ever in a European league. People don’t remember him as fondly as Tim Howard because Howard was better for the national team, but Friedel was legitimately one of the best keepers in the Premier League for a couple seasons

You guys should've included Dempsey's first goal for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City in 2013. It's a fantastic goal from the outside of the box.
