This happens when big ambitions but don't have money, only have 2 clubs made him suffer. Mancity Owner has more than 10 clubs but all went smoothly😂
People complain about Middle Eastern owners yet turn a blind eye to all of the American billionaires and hedge funds, buying up most of European football and basically using them as piggybanks. They pile on debt, have to be bullied to invest, and let's not forget that they were the primary push behind the Super League.
Eagle Football Group still owes Atlanta United for the Thiago Almada Sale.

Disrespectful thumbnail
Ligue Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
PSG put down all their threat one by one 😂
This is not a shock. Textor's financial management style is not a model that sits well in France (taking from the left hand to give it to the right). The expectation is that the club stands on its own 2 feets rather than depend from a complex financial web of clubs interrelations. It's a revenue vs. cost question, and on that front the club is a disaster dragged down by eye watering level of debt. Financial accounting is not well regarded. He's also fairly arrogant (although sometimes for good reasons) which doesn't help.
PS: they will have the opportunity to stay in ligue 1, but I suspect at the cost of selling another few players.
Actually tragic what has happened to the french league , terrible decisions mixed with psg ruining any sense of competition or fairness in the league not to mention the insane financial gap and problems
Kind of unfair to put Alexandre Lacazette on the thumbnail when he's no longer part of the club (It's kind of like putting Rayan Cherki in the thumbnail while he's a Man City player, pretty irrelevant today.) It'd be more appropriate to put John Textor in the thumbnail since this relegation occurred under his watch as owner, regardless of whatever results players brought on the field. By the way, the players didn't under deliver.
France was meant to be Europe’s supermarket of talented players for other countries there’s a reason why France exports the most players out of any country in the world, only Brazil is first, French players (more than 900 goals) have scored the most in UCL history only Brazilians scored more (1K total goals), France wasn’t meant to win UCL or Europa league titles
I'm a French American and from Lyon. I emailed Textor a couple of times warning him about the French mindset. I knew it would happen b.c he's acted with total disregard for how things are done in France and I knew his somewhat arrogance would be punished. French people love to make you pay for arrogance. He didn't take the culture into account. The French ligue also belongs to PSG and Qatar doesn't want strong competition.
More good news for Matt Turner
Le retour du derby ASSE vs OL qu'on attendait pas du tout. Ah puis sinon Strasbourg en Europa League !
