Barça have won the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the second time to cap yet another success-packed season. After winning an eighth Spanish Liga title, they beat Wolfsburg 3-2 in Eindhoven, putting a display of footballing style and brilliance in front of a crowd of 33,147 fans in Eindhoven.
In honour of another conquest of the biggest prize in European club football, the team will be heading to Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona this Sunday at 6pm CEST, where they have a double date at the seats of the Catalan government (Generalitat de Catalunya) and then Barcelona City Hall, where they will be received by the leading political authorities in the country and city.
