#1 Giving no time to react
#2 Correct positioning and stance
Position, Contain, Get set, Recover and Tackle.
#3 Developing your patience
#4 Anticipating their next move
#5 Using your body correctly
#6 The eyes on the ball… and the defender
You simply wait for them to make a move and put yourself infront of them to make it almost impossible for them to get to the ball.
#7 Always on your toes
#8 Intimidating attackers
You need to be careful with any type of intimidation. Anything light like a little push, a strong lunge towards the ball or some exchange of words to get into their head will work.

I like the way u r down low and as a fellow defender try to not stand flat footed and dont always stab at them and wait for they mess up or have weakness that is visible and take advantage of this and make sure u push them to their weakness and also i have middle school tryouts tomorrow so wish me luck
Nice
Thx
