Salah still hasn't had a season where he should've won the Ballon d'Or. When Liverpool had the best chance of getting one, it should've gone to van Dijk.
It's annoying when people display recency bias. Carragher is saying Salah is the standout as an ex Liverpool player and fan. Clearly he's not impartial. If Henry was in the studio then I've no doubt he wouldn't be claiming Salah now is individually better than Henry's peak seasons.
Stats matter but they don't tell the full story. What Salah is doing is great, yet compared to Henry's peak and CR in 07/08, there's no contest when it comes to their overall disp;ays, dribbling and the quality of the goals. Those two were producing individual brilliance game after game, where as Salah is profiting more from teamwork. In 17/18 he was actually producing better performances. His dribbling was more effective, and he was scoring more through his own play.
